Michael Duchesne brings a soulful, magnetic energy to every stage he steps on. Now based on the Sunshine Coast and performing with Simply West Music, his career took off in 2011 when he opened for American R&B artist Eric Benét, which led to a standout run on The Voice Australia. Mentored by Coach Seal, Michael made it all the way to the Top 6, with his final performance reaching over two million viewers on broadcast night alone.

Since then, he's built a name for himself across some of Australia's biggest stages and festivals, sharing a headline slot with Lionel Cole at Manly Jazz Festival, supporting UK legends Hot Chocolate on tour, and performing alongside soul heavyweights Aloe Blacc and D'Angelo at Soulfest. Grammy Award-winning producer M-Phazes has called him "an asset to Australian Soul Music," a reputation backed up by his sold-out 2014 EP launch at 505 Jazz Club in Sydney.
